Chandra Price

Board Member

As a former English Language Arts teacher and forever educator with nearly 20 years of experience, Chandra Price has helped thousands of new writers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area find their voices and grow as readers and writers. She earned her B.A. in Journalism from Louisiana Tech University and her Master’s in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Chandra is a proud Literary BAE (Bad A** Editor) with Good Ground Literary Services, where she supports adult writers across the country as they turn their life experiences into powerful books.

For almost a decade, she has also owned Price of Greatness Custom Tees, helping individuals, schools, and businesses bring their creative ideas to life. She volunteers with several community organizations that serve women and children, and she is a commissioned notary public. Chandra currently serves as the Program Operations Manager for the Modern Classrooms Project, a nonprofit dedicated to meeting the needs of every student in classrooms nationwide. She recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Phoenix. In her spare time, she manages the beautiful chaos of her large DFW-area family, lives the life of a coach’s wife, and mother to an adult daughter, a PVAMU student and very active basketball player(2 girls and that boy). When she can steal a moment for herself, she loves to catch a good concert, movie or get lost in a good book.
