Our Programs

Each year, five $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to women to pay for their second

chance education goals whose early college or vocational studies were interrupted for

unforeseen circumstances.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a US citizen

• Either currently enrolled or in receipt of an acceptance letter from a two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming

academic year

• Demonstrates need due to financial hardship

• Completion of the application

When Does It Open?

This scholarship application will open on May 1, 2026, and close on June 30, 2026.

Scholarship recipients will be announced on July 15, 2026.

Scholarship money will be paid directly to the college/university/technical school on the acceptance letter provided by the winner.

In May, the DeDe McGuire Foundation celebrates moms through our “We Got You Girl” free

Financial Literacy program and $500 Daycare Pay award. Upon successful completion of

our Financial Literacy program, five moms will be selected to receive a one-time $500 award paid to the daycare where their child/children attend.

Scholarship Criteria

• Must be a US citizen

• Must be a Single Mom

• Demonstrates need due to financial hardship

• Successful completion of Financial Literacy program

• Proof of child enrollment in daycare

• Completion of the application

When Does It Open?

The Financial Literacy program will take place in April 2026. Daycare Pay recipients will be

announced in May 2026.

• Must be a US citizen

• Currently enrolled or in receipt of an acceptance letter from a two-year or four-year college or university, for the upcoming academic year

• Demonstrates need due to financial hardship

• Completion of the application

When Does It Open?

This scholarship application will open on May 1, 2026, and close on June 30, 2026.

Scholarship recipients will be announced on or before July 15, 2026.

Scholarship money will be paid directly to the college/university/technical school on the acceptance letter provided by the winner.
