Hello! I’m Kimmie Peters, a spirited and passionate marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the dynamic world of marketing and public relations. As the VP of Marketing at Texas Capital, I spearhead strategic marketing initiatives, delivering multi-channel campaigns to drive brand awareness, banker engagement, and the commercialization of Texas Capital’s Commercial Banking Offerings.
In my previous years, I proudly served the “Fly Jock” himself, Tom Joyner, as the head of the community relations team for the Tom Joyner Foundation. I was the face and voice behind all the HBCU support and advocacy programs, championing the causes close to our hearts – “Sustainability for HBCU’s.”
Outside of the office, you’ll find me hitting the trails as an avid runner and advocating fiercely for women’s health. I support and volunteer at local shelters and lead efforts for my personal non-profit, “The Prom Shop Project,” where I’ve donated dresses and mentored teen girls for over 20 years, ensuring they experience the magic of prom & art of simply being a poised young lady!
My journey is one of dedication and desire. As a first-generation graduate, I committed to creating a legacy of philanthropic giving, personal wealth in health, and spiritual fulfillment. With a BA in Anthropology from Texas Tech and a Master’s in Public Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, MO, I blend my academic achievements with my heartfelt passions.
Originally from San Antonio, I’m also a proud mom of two incredible kids. Join me as I continue to make a difference, one marketing campaign and one dress donation at a time.
